What's new
Every update to the Anyday app, newest first.
- Our first official release
1.0.0 · Build 47
New - This is the build approved for Anyday's official release. Thank you to everyone who tested along the way.
- While you're AirPlaying, the video player shows skip back and skip forward 10 seconds buttons, so you can move around without dragging a scrubber you can't see.
- If you finish a workout while still connected to AirPlay, the finish screen tells you and gives you the AirPlay button to disconnect.
Improved - Signing up no longer asks for your birthday. You just confirm you're 18 or older, and we don't store a date of birth.
- The workout and plan filters only list training styles that have something to browse, so a filter never lands you on an empty page.
- Version 1.0.0
1.0.0 · Build 46
New - Profiles of coaches and authors now have Blogs and Recipes tabs listing everything they've published. A tab only appears when there's something in it.
- AirPlay
1.0.0 · Build 45
New - Send workout videos to your Apple TV or any AirPlay screen. Look for the AirPlay button on the video player, in a workout and in fullscreen. A banner shows where it's playing, and it keeps going if you lock your phone. iPhone and iPad only.
Fixed - On Android, the blur over members-only content no longer disappears when you pull past the end of a page.
- Meet our authors
1.0.0 · Build 44
New - Authors — the people writing Anyday's blog posts and recipes — now have their own badge and profiles you can follow, just like coaches. Their posts show up in your feed.
Improved - The connect button adapts to who you're looking at: Follow for coaches and authors, Add Friend for members, and a menu with both when either applies.
- The Coaches tab in your connections is now called Following, since it covers authors too.
- A new Shop tab
1.0.0 · Build 43
New - Shop is now a row of category tabs you can swipe between — All plus one per category — with each tab loading its own products. Product cards show their category.
- A push notification can now take you straight to a coach's new post in the feed.
Improved - The custom workout wizard only offers equipment that has exercises behind it, so you can't pick gear the generator would never use.
- The Blogs, Recipes, and Fitness tab titles sit on the left like the rest of the app.
Fixed - Tapping a feed post about a workout that only exists inside a plan now opens that plan. Reaching one of those workouts from Favorites or an old link shows a note instead of Start and Add to Schedule buttons that wouldn't work.
- Both sides, every time
1.0.0 · Build 42
Improved - The custom workout wizard's body-focus step only lists muscle groups that have exercises, and shows loading placeholders while it fetches them.
Fixed - Custom workouts keep left and right exercises together — you'll never be prescribed one arm or leg without the other. Thanks to a beta tester for flagging it.
- Version 1.0.0
1.0.0 · Build 41
Fixed - Browse Plans cards show the real number of plans in each training style, instead of always saying 1.
- Form tutorials
1.0.0 · Build 40
New - Exercises with a form tutorial now have a Tutorial tab next to Info and Stats — the coaching clip plays with sound.
Improved - Joining a plan is just a start date. The coach's rest days stay on the calendar, even if you start mid-week.
- On Home, the week strip snaps fully open or shut as you scroll, instead of resting halfway faded.
Fixed - The This week row on a plan matches that plan's week — not the calendar's Sunday-to-Saturday — so the label and the days agree.
- A shorter custom workout
1.0.0 · Build 39
Improved - Custom workouts no longer ask for a fitness level — they size the session from your other answers.
- Home's social section is now Activities.
- Opening a blog from Home keeps you on the article — back returns you to Home instead of jumping to the Blogs tab.
Fixed - Workout collection banners load the full photo, so they stay sharp.
- Plan stats at a glance
1.0.0 · Build 38
New - Plan pages show weeks, days per week, and minutes per session up front, so you can tell the shape of a program before you join.
- Follow blog authors
1.0.0 · Build 37
New - Blog posts show the author — tap through to their profile, or follow them from the article the same way you follow a coach on a workout.
- Home has a Read the latest rail of featured articles — tap through, or View All, without leaving the tab.
- Friend-request emails
1.0.0 · Build 36
New - Settings → Notifications now has an Email section — start with friend requests — and the same toggle lives on your account page on the web.
Improved - New-password fields show the requirements up front, instead of only after a failed attempt.
- The app icon is a white a on hot pink, so it's easier to spot on your home screen.
- Workout collections
1.0.0 · Build 35
New - Fitness has a Collections shelf of curated workout groupings — tap a card for the full set. Shared collection links open in the app or on the web.
- The Workouts grid can be filtered by duration — under 15, 15–30, 30–45, 45–60, and 60+ minutes.
- Sign in and Create account cycle through brand-shoot photos, with a white wordmark so the pictures stay visible behind the buttons.
Improved - On Home, tapping THIS WEEK (or the month once you've paged away) jumps the week strip back to today, and rest days no longer show a stray dot. On a plan card, today is a ring so a finished workout still reads as today.
- The membership page on the web now links to cancellation help before you subscribe.
- This week on your plan
1.0.0 · Build 34
New - The plan you're on now shows a This week row of days — what's done, due, scheduled, or rest — and the start button includes how long today's workout takes.
- Your screen stays on during a workout (Settings → Workouts, on by default) and whenever a video is playing, so it doesn't go dark mid-set.
- Share your profile from the profile screen — same deep link your friends can open in the app or on the web.
Improved - Sign-up now spells out the Terms of Use, Privacy Policy, and arbitration agreement instead of hiding them behind a link.
Fixed - App Store and Google Play buttons on the website now open the real Anyday listings.
- Your week at a glance
1.0.0 · Build 33
New - Home's week strip collapses as you scroll and shows how many workouts you have on each day, so you can swipe weeks without losing the calendar.
- If your social feed is empty, Anyday now suggests coaches to follow so it can fill in — follow one and the feed updates in place.
Improved - Sign-in and sign-up now work with the passwords saved on your phone, and those credentials work on the website too.
- Catch up on your plan
1.0.0 · Build 32
New - Fallen behind on a plan? Anyday now notices and offers to shift your remaining weeks forward so you pick up where you left off — nothing gets compressed or skipped.
- Editing the weight or reps on a set now offers to carry that change through the rest of the exercise, so you don't retype it set by set.
- You can now get a notification when a new workout drops, if you've opted in.
- A cleaner active workout
1.0.0 · Builds 28–31
Improved - The active workout screen was reworked: finished exercises collapse into compact summaries so the one you're on stays front and centre.
- Plan progress on your fitness cards has a fresh look that makes it clearer how far through a plan you are.
Fixed - Rotating your phone to go fullscreen on a video now works reliably, even with orientation lock on.
- Some dates and times were showing off by a few hours on the website; they now match the app.
- Faster video, more stats
1.0.0 · Builds 26–27
New - Exercise charts let you pick which metric to plot — volume, estimated one-rep max, best set, and more — and remember your choice per exercise.
Improved - Workout and exercise videos now stream adaptively — they start faster and buffer less on slower connections.
- Plan cover images are cropped around their focal point, so faces and movement stay in frame on every card size.
- Delete Account now lives under Settings → Account with the rest of your account controls.
Fixed - A coach's workout list no longer shows workouts that only exist inside one of their plans.
- Coaches can post from the app
1.0.0 · Build 25
New - Coaches can now write and schedule posts to the social feed straight from the app, with a whistle badge marking coach posts.
Improved - Preferences is split into Units, Notifications, and Video Sound screens so each setting is easier to find.
- Workout cover images now crop around their focal point on cards, the detail screen, and the Today's Workout card.
- The iOS Live Activity now shows the name of the workout you're doing.
Fixed - Opening a shared link while signed out now takes you to it after you sign in, instead of dropping it.
- Video sound and fullscreen
1.0.0 · Build 24
New - Rotate your phone to enter and leave fullscreen video.
- A new Video Sound preference lets you choose whether workout videos pause your music, duck it, or mix over it.
Improved - Images load faster and embedded content in blog posts uses full-resolution images.
Fixed - Shared links from app.anyday-studios.com open the right screen every time.
- Meet Our Coaches
1.0.0 · Build 23
New - A Meet Our Coaches shelf on the Fitness tab introduces the coaches behind your workouts — tap through to follow them.
- Your account, membership, and profile can now be managed on the web at app.anyday-studios.com.
Improved - Browse Plans cards are now full-bleed portrait images with live counts of how many workouts each plan holds.
- Detail screens load full-resolution hero images.
- Live Activities and friend-request alerts
1.0.0 · Build 22
New - On iOS, your active workout shows up as a Live Activity on the Lock Screen and in the Dynamic Island.
- Get a push notification when someone sends you a friend request — tap it to open their profile.
- Achievements have a dedicated detail screen with the full badge art and how you earned it.
Improved - Anyday asks for notification permission at a sensible moment instead of on first launch, and haptics are tuned across the app.
- Plan cards use a 3:4 portrait layout with focal-point cropping on training-style images.
- Version 1.0.0
1.0.0 · Builds 17–21
Improved - Exercise demo videos start muted, with a per-exercise sound toggle when a coach has recorded narration.
- Exercise demo videos are now portrait, filling the screen on your phone.
- Version 1.0.0
1.0.0 · Builds 14–16
Improved - Share sheets use the Anyday icon and shorter, cleaner links.
- In-app messages (snackbars) now float in the brand style.
Fixed - Saving your profile no longer loses edits if you kept typing while it saved.
- Version 1.0.0
1.0.0 · Builds 12–13
New - If a build is too old to work with the service, the app now shows an upgrade prompt instead of failing quietly.
Improved - Edit Profile saves your bio and social links independently, so one failing doesn't block the other.
Fixed - The Premium paywall now presents correctly on Android.
- Metrics tab
1.0.0 · Builds 9–11
New - A Metrics tab on your profile lists every exercise you've logged — tap one to see its history and chart.
- Privacy Policy and Terms of Use are linked from Settings and published on the web.
Improved - The Favorites tab has its own segment toggle for Workouts, Recipes, Blogs, and Shop.
- Onboarding recommendations flow more smoothly, stat tiles have new artwork, and stat and rest-day cards are cleaner.
- Crash reporting was added so we can find and fix problems faster.
- Premium content and exercise stats
1.0.0 · Build 8
New - Premium workouts, plans, recipes, and articles show a crown badge; tapping one as a non-member opens the paywall.
- Each exercise has a Stats tab with your logged history and a progress chart.
- Achievements you haven't earned yet show their locked badge art so you can see what's ahead.
Improved - Finished sessions show a completion banner with the session's details moved into the info card.
- Tapping a day on the calendar opens a richer preview sheet that names the plan each workout belongs to.
- Manage your App Store or Google Play subscription from inside the app.
- Pause and resume
1.0.0 · Build 7

- Start Workout on a generated custom workout launches it immediately.
Improved - Real badge art for achievements, in celebrations and in the social feed.
- Explore More Recipes shows loading placeholders instead of popping in.
- Polished number and weight inputs during an active workout.
- Shared links get previews
1.0.0 · Builds 4–6
New - Links you share to workouts, plans, recipes, products, posts, and profiles now show a preview at app.anyday-studios.com for anyone without the app, with App Store and Google Play badges.
- Delete your account yourself from Settings, or from the website if you no longer have the app.
- Premium is purchased through the App Store or Google Play with the in-app paywall.
Improved - Blog embeds that can't load degrade gracefully instead of vanishing.
